Two Brothers Brewing Company is looking for a social media/communications candidate that will work with the Digital Marketing Manager and Marketing team to help us continue to grow our brands through social media strategy, planning, execution and measurement.

The Social Media Specialist will develop and manage integrated marketing programs across multiple social and digital channels as well as support specific initiatives, such as copywriting, website maintenance, events, product launches and promotions.

You’ll wear a lot of hats here! Candidates for this position must be able and willing to display time management and communication skills while juggling multiple projects/duties simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement an engaging digital, social media and content strategy for all Two Brothers businesses and products in alignment with the overall brand positioning, fully integrating with other non-digital marketing departments and assets, to achieve marketing objectives.
  • Manage social media campaigns and day-to-day activities for online advocacy, editorial copy, community outreach efforts, promotional campaigns, launch/event announcements, etc.
  • Act as the social media community manager, overseeing presence in social networking sites, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram and writing/editing/scheduling content into social applications as needed.
  • Manage all postings, tweets, responses and resolutions of customer feedback, using good judgment in safeguarding the brand image in responses and outreach in all social media communications.
  • Develop and execute content creation and distribution strategies along with development of annual editorial calendar as part of the planning process.
  • Work with Digital Marketing Manager to create, manage, and maintain consistent voice across all digital platforms (social, web, device, media coverage.)
  • Constantly monitor trends in social media tools, sites, audience and applications and bring new ideas to the table.
  • Assist with all Two Brothers digital marketing assets, including but not limited to website, content, paid digital advertising, mobile marketing.
  • Assist with SEO and SEM as needed.
  • Create digital-forward promotions and experiences to drive engagement for core consumer segments for all Two Brothers businesses.
  • Measure the impact of content, social media and digital marketing on overall marketing efforts, establishing metrics/benchmarks and implement measurement, analytics and reporting methods in order to gauge success and regularly report performance to management.
  • Manage any external resources/agencies as needed.
  • Other duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Social Media, Communications, Journalism or related field, or equivalent education and experience.
  • NOTE: This is not for a senior manager role. Candidates ideally will have 1 to 3 years of experience in digital and/or social media strategy and implementation in an agency or corporate marketing (brand) environment, or commensurate experience.
  • Superior written communication skills, with the ability to write for various needs ranging from posts to content creation.
  • A creative individual who is self-motivated, passionate and ready to prove themselves and become part of a great team that will help to shape the company’s future.
  • Ability to wear multiple hats in this position, as there will be times where you will need to fill and execute a variety of marketing roles.
  • Knowledgeable in SEO / SEM to optimize sites and online promotions.
  • Knowledgeable of multichannel content marketing – videos, blogs, social, etc. Experience creating video/digital content a plus.
  • Knowledge of all major social media platforms, digital management services, and social blogging.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the latest trends in digital and social media.
  • Personable, outgoing individual with strong project management skills and can handle multiple projects at once.
  • Collaborative, positive minded individual with a team-oriented approach.
  • Strong working knowledge of WordPress (or similar web editors) and Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word. Experience with creative programs such as Video Editing programs and Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop a plus.
  • Working knowledge of digital and social measurement tools, such as Google Analytics.
  • Must be willing to occasionally work weekends or evenings to cover events, respond to posts, etc.
  • Passion/knowledge of craft beer and our brands (coffee/spirits/restaurants) is helpful.

Two Brothers Restaurants

Operations Manager

Location: Two Brothers Roundhouse, Aurora, IL
Position Type: Full-Time

Two Brothers Roundhouse is looking to hire a full-time, entry level Operations Manager in the beginning of 2019. The Two Brothers Roundhouse is a full service brewpub restaurant, music venue and banquet space for large events and weddings. It also features the Two Brothers Cafe and Beer Bar, as well as one of the largest and most unique beer gardens you’ll ever see. Passion for beer, love of food and appreciation for great architecture flourish in the walls of this historic 70,000 square foot facility.

The Two Brothers Roundhouse was constructed in 1856 to serve Aurora on the Chicago & Aurora Railroad. The walls of the structure were constructed with locally quarried limestone from Batavia, Illinois. The building is the oldest limestone roundhouse in the United States and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Job Description:

The Operations Manager will have a variety of responsibilities. Some common duties include: greeting and serving customers and ensuring prompt service and satisfaction; ordering stock; leading team meetings; recruiting, training, and supervising employees; delegating work duties and maintaining schedules; general assistance in customer operations; maintaining a professional and courteous attitude; “filling in the gaps” when it comes to service; handling any customer complaints; and performing various administrative duties.

It is imperative that this person exhibits strong communication skills, as he/she leads employees and will need to communicate effectively with customers. Operations Managers should have natural leadership skills and an optimistic attitude, and be willing to go above and beyond for their customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service, answer customer questions, and address complaints.
  • Oversee the balancing of cash drawers, record income and expenditures, and monitor inventory.
  • Manage, train and supervise staff, schedule staff hours, and uphold standards of customer service.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Keeping the staff informed on any changes or improvements.

NOTE: This is not a senior manager role. Candidates will ideally have 1 to 3 years of restaurant management experience.
