Jake Mack Trio with One More Moon, 9 pm, All-Ages Show
Jake Mack Trio is the full embodiment of the word POWER in the designation of POWER Trio. The group absolutely has a blues/rock edge like one would associate with the term, but is also steeped in soulful, groovy, dusty Americana. Drawing from outside influences past and present of Jazz and R&B, as well as southern rock and folk, the trio truly demonstrates new musical ideas in every original and carefully-selected cover they play. Jake Mack Trio is Jake Mack – guitar/vocals, Zach Goforth – bass/vocals, Dan Knighten – Drums.
One More Moon is a four-piece from Chicago that got it’s mix of folk, blues, and rock – along with the many differing influences each member brings to the table – transform Quigley’s foundations into songs wholly unique to the band. Since their debut, One More Moon has played various venues in and around Chicago, including the Cubby Bear and the Metro, and a debut EP is in the works.
