The Two Brothers Roundhouse is a full service brewpub restaurant, music venue and banquet space for large events and weddings. It also features the Two Brothers Cafe and Beer Bar, as well as one of the largest and most unique beer gardens you’ll ever see – it’s a real head turner. Passion for beer, love of food and appreciation for great architecture flourish in the walls of this historic 70,000 square foot facility.

The roundhouse was constructed in 1856 to serve Aurora on the Chicago & Aurora Railroad. The walls of the structure were constructed with locally quarried limestone from Batavia, Illinois. The building is the oldest limestone roundhouse in the United States and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

With rooms suited for groups from 25 to 600, there are a variety of spaces in our historic rooms or beautiful courtyard with gazebo. Our hand-crafted beer along with a wide range of house-made, locally-sourced menu options creates an experience not to be forgotten.

As you enjoy our hand crafted beer outside on the patio or inside at one of our bars, keep an ear out for live music and an eye out for your favorite sporting events. The live entertainment covers a wide range of musical styles including classic rock, blues, acoustic, bluegrass and many more. Like the beer, many of the acts have a local flavor. In addition, watch for national headliners to grace the Roundhouse stage. There are plenty of options for you to enjoy within the roundhouse.

The first Two Brothers Cafe & Beer Bar opened in August 2013 in the Two Brothers Roundhouse in Aurora, IL. Sharing the same space as the 7.5 barrel brewery and artisanal bakery, it was carefully designed to be a coffee bar by day and a beer bar by night. Two Brothers’ specialty-grade Arabica coffee is served in the cafe with a full line of professionally prepared and served artisanal teas. Limited batch coffee is even roasted right on site! In addition, a rotating selection of six guest beers, available only in the cafe, are on draft during cafe hours.

Take a tour of our new state-of-the-art distillery and the historical Two Brothers Roundhouse!

Our weekly free tour will show you inside the Two Brothers Artisan Spirits Distillery with an in-depth look our hybrid, two-column, 20-plate still. We will also show you around the Two Brothers Roundhouse, a 162-year-old historical landmark that has transformed from a locomotive transportation center into a entertainment venue that features a brewpub restaurant, music space, banquet hall for large events and weddings, a coffee cafe and one of the largest and most unique beer gardens in Illinois.
